Strongly recommend for a short stayover

Beautiful garden, great breakfast. the delicious regional fare at breakfast was beautifully presented and the gardens were exceptionally well maintained.

No faults whatsoever.

The hotel has a prime location right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore nearby restaurants and shops. Rooms offering views of the gardens add a nice touch, providing a pleasant contrast to the bustling square outside.

Rooms are only partially renovated, leaving some amenities feeling outdated, particularly the bathrooms, which look tired and cramped. Hard mattresses may pose a problem for those seeking comfort, and the lack of plugs next to the beds means extra hassle for charging devices. The internal soundproofing is inadequate, allowing noise from neighboring rooms to filter in, which can disrupt a night's sleep. Additionally, there’s no parking on-site, making it a challenge to find a spot nearby, especially when carrying luggage.

The breakfast spread at Azoris Angra Garden was a feast for the senses, showcasing regional goodies that tickled my taste buds! Plus, they’ve got a cozy rooftop bar where you can sip cocktails while soaking in those Angra do Heroismo vibes.

On the flip side, some staff seemed a tad grumpy and the internet was a bit spotty at times. It didn't tarnish the overall glow, though!

Location right on the main square is excellent. The breakfast spread is impressive, but the beds are quite stiff.

The hotel’s location was perfect for exploring the charming streets of Angra do Heroismo. Our family enjoyed lounging by the heated pool after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet had a delightful selection that really kicked off our mornings, especially with the sweet lady ensuring we felt right at home.

My kids wished for a bit more variety in the dinner options, as they found the menu quite limited. Maybe adding some kid-friendly meals would enhance the experience for families.

I had a lovely 3-night stay with my friends. The breakfast spread was satisfying, and the peaceful views from our room overlooking the gardens were delightful. The hot tub was a fantastic way to unwind after our days out.

I had a wonderful experience with my room overlooking the lovely public garden, which made it so peaceful to relax after a day of sightseeing, and the central location made it easy to stroll to nearby attractions like the stunning Duke of Terceira Garden and Se Cathedral, both just a few steps away.

Perfect breakfast and great location!

We spent 2 nights here, and the breakfast was on point, starting at 5 am – super handy! The staff were really friendly. Location is awesome, right near the gardens and walking distance to everything. Just wish the bathroom was in better shape. it seemed kinda old. Overall, a solid stay for the price!

I had a lovely time enjoying the gym and sauna during my stay while also being impressed by the great breakfast spread. The pool was nice and relaxing after a long day of exploring. The only slight downside was the coffee at breakfast, but that didn’t take away from the overall experience! 😊

Extremely helpful and welcoming staff enhanced the experience, and breakfast offered a good variety, including an organic section. The room featured a mini fridge and kettle, adding convenience. However, there were occasions of slow service during dinner, and some noise disturbances from nearby events. Despite this, the hotel’s central location and proximity to gardens made the visit enjoyable.

My room was pretty nice—spacious and clean with a lovely view of the garden. It felt peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. It did get a bit warm at times, and there were a couple of lukewarm hot dishes at breakfast, but overall, I was satisfied with the setup. Comfy beds too!
